Tell that to Brazil.


Brazil isn't using corn, more importantly Brazil's cars don't drive nearly as many total miles or burn nearly as much total fuel as American cars.

Also, while ethanol is a significant factor in Brazil, that effect is sometimes exaggerated. Increased production of Brazilian crude has as much to do with ending Brazilian oil imports as greater use of ethanol. I doubt we will get any great increase in production of American crude oil.
