Don't know if you saw that Gart's took over SportsMart yesterday....apologize for any misspellings on their names. The articles going over this referred to the expected wave of considation expected in the near future in the industry. Gart's apparently intends to keep all of the SM stores opened and the majority of the employees intact, so there is no reason to think this possibly saturated industry is any less saturated at this point. SM had gone up in advance but got knocked down after the announcement.

Wonder if today's increased volume and slightly higher price might have had some association with this???
