I'll be right over for popcorn!

I'm a popcorn junky from way back. I've perfected a method for getting most of the kernels to pop, if you care to try it.

It takes a bit of experimentation with each microwave, the vessel you pop it in, and the amount of popcorn, but the basic procedure is the same.

If you have a two stage microwave, break it up into two segments. Reduce the power to about 60% for the first segment and to 90% for the second segment. Work with the time interval until you get consistent results of less than 20 unpopped kernels. If you have a single stage oven just use the 90% level. You'll probably ruin a few batches before you get it right.
