In this case without researching the beginnings of tax preferences on health care related non wage benefits there is not evidence that unlimited tax deductible health insurance qualifies as "government intervention in economic decision making".

Excuse me?

The idea that allowing one form of compensation to be given completely free of taxation, while other forms are taxed at a significant rate, doesn't change how employees are compensated is just nonsense.

And if it was true, then putting a limit on the tax free form of compensation wouldn't change compensation decisions either.
