Don't be silly. Do you know which regions of Baghdad are now the most violent? Or which blocks house the most bombmakers? Of course you don't. And having that information in the next few months won't do the American public any service in the next few months.

I'd expect an increased number of IEDs and terror bombings in the next few months, and then a rapid tapering off of such things as the operations begin to have a real effect. I suspect that what we'll get from the MSM is heavy reporting on the increased bombings and murders, and then silence on the success of the mission. The overall numbers of the various insurgent attacks and death squad murders need to be reported, as they are now; not the segment by segment comparisons you're asking for. That's detail you don't need, and that can be used as more spin and propaganda against the stabilization efforts.
