Today was a 2/3 green day in both my mining and energy stocks.

The big story for me was undoubtedly RDV up 32% on 7x normal volume. As near as I can tell this was because it was named Paradigm's top pick for 2007 just ahead of an FBS being released. Now how many shares do I have again?

CKG +9% on 6x normal volume -- shedding the golden pillow!
EDR +7% and back up to $5 and ready for $6+ this time IMO. You could make a lot of money swing trading this one but I like the company enough to just buy on the dips
STM +6% and another ATH
GVG +5% and set ATH today
NWI +5% continuing strength and volume
DNT +4% ARU +4% nice bounce back today
CUU +4% another stealth move going on

I had dual dogs both down 7% -- ZNC and UNO, which I guess I should have flipped for a quick profit.

There were no big moves among my energy stocks, though OIL.TO did set a new ATH before settling back a bit. With one or two more exploration successes -- and they are getting very good at North Sea drilling with their rigs on long term leases -- this should make it through $10.

And in my non-resource stocks, aluminum fabricator NVL was up 23% on big volume on a possible takeover. Too bad I only have a few shares from the Alcan spinout.
