Liar. Kerry served two tours of duty, volunteered for combat in Vietnam, spent six months there, including 90 days of straight combat on the Mekong with no R+R. He killed, was almost killed himself, saved his crew's lives several times, rescued Green Beret Rassman and instigated a new aggressive approach to swiftboating, that is charging into enemy fire, instead of running away from it which was the usual habit before that. He fully earned all his medals, particular his Silver and Bronze Stars for valor in combat.
Cheney, Bush and the rest of the top Bushies deliberately avoided the war and refused to serve their country. Bush went AWOl from the rich kid champagne unit of the Air Guard and lied about it, splitting two years early to go to Harvard. He specifically refused to go to Vietnam. Not a single Bushie leader ever served in combat. Most of them deliberately avoided it, often by lying and using rich daddys. Cheney is a gross offender getting five straight deferrments when he was perfectly able to serve. DElay said there were pokenty of blacks who who could serve in his place.
