Some of the Minutemen are far rightwing racist types. It's too bad they are the ones in the forefront of the secure borders movement. Ironically, we'd also desperately need illegal labor to build any fences down there. The price-tag is also enormous, 43 billion not even including land purchases. And with Bush's deficits where does the money come from? It's all been spent in Iraq. The money for Katrina too.
