re: The point is not "there is no way the gap is getting bigger, the left is crazy or stupid". The point is evidence about the gap is conflicting, and that the gap probably isn't actually increasing as fast as many claim it is. "The gap" may also be increasing "faster" (read: more) than people say it is.
