barry, I'm not so sure about that; however I certainly agree that the bar has been lowered in terms of meeting Q3 expectations. i think this will help intel in 2 weeks. no whisper numbers to contend with and the mkt. manipulation that may result even if intel beats estimates. If intel fundamentals are still healthy, which i think they are based weak competition and good PC demand, intel's stock will follow suit. joey
