Ascend strengths. The backbone switch of a corporation is not ascends strength. cisco and coms have that. but ascend has the internet, as of july over 300 ISP's used ascend prodcuts and I don't think they like to mix. I think I know the answer to the question of when MORY said he had all 7 bell compnaies. they could be selling directly to two of them and the other 5 they sell to an integrator and that integrator gives the bell compnay a complete prodcut. This is whats happening ....I bet they do have a wan-access switch and dynamic access in it''s remote. Ascend is the leader in ISDN and remote. I think they bought a compnay that will help them lead the way in management and monitoring ISND and remote too. I'm liking all this ascend research.. more later.
