That's a great article about Giuliani. If he runs, we will see a massive struggle between the Social Conservatives who have control of the party right now and the "Eagle" crowd who are more like me. The problem the Social Conservatives have is that they really don't have a good candidate. And it will take an Eagle to beat the Dem candidate after all that has gone on the for the last two terms. Rudi will be one hell of a good campaigner. Incidently, one of the reasons that the City Journal wrote such a glowing review is that they are the outlet for Manhatten Institute, which Rudy is an intregal part of. The magazine itself says: During the Giuliani Administration, the magazine served as an idea factory as the then-mayor revivified New York City, quickly becoming, in the words of the New York Post, "the place where Rudy gets his ideas." The Public Interest goes further, calling City Journal "the magazine that saved the city.
