So you choose to ignore the word, "except" when you say: "The passage clearly means he was removing the hold recommendation from that list."

Obviously, you are saying that even though Brinker previously and repeatedly declared that the stocks on his ubiquitous Individual Issues list were to fit into his 40% equity-allocation recommendation of January 2000, that in November 2000 he changed his mind.

Therefore, you are obviously saying that he was saying they could then all be purchased with the 65% cash reserves--which he recommended doing with the QQQQ.

I submit that Brinker differentiated between the trades and the Individual Issues List (for QQQ only) so that people would know that while QQQQ would remained on his ubiquitous list of recommended stocks (forever?), there was some new and specific advise concerning QQQQ.

After which, he followed up with specific "guidance" for the QQQQ-trades (mentioned specifically) in the heart of his newsletter for the next 30 months.
