Kerry's CAFE Standards bill would have saved our auto industry. In 2001 Kerry-McCain put forth a very smart bill to improve efficiency in all our engines. Bushies killed is to protect lazy good for nothing energy hogs. Then Bushies doubled the price of gasoline on us, handing Toyota and the Japanese a huge chunk of GM and Ford's business. The CAFE STandards bill also would have saved us more energy than is extracable from all of Alaska. But Bushies kill conservation. They are corrupt and bad for our energy futgure.
