i am puzzled... why doesn't max cleland have a Purple Heart? if he had been john forbes kerry he would have at least one for each missing limb. did max quit drinking beer?

much of john forbes kerry's medals were self promoted. in other words he did the writing.... had a hard time getting it the way he wanted it in his fabrications that he had to rewrite the citation on his Silver Star with "V" device 3 different times.

did you ever learn of another Silver Star Medal holder who has a "V" device?
