Frontmed admits no contest here. :-)

I had my novice at 11, Advanced at 12. The Extra theory was a snap.. It was that 20wpm CW that killed me.. LOL!
Got my Second Class Radio Telephone at 13, my First at 14 and was immediatly hired for an outragious hourly rate (at the time) by the local VHF station for Transmitter babysitting duties.


Wow, you really got into Ham at an early age.
Well, now you can just get the Extra since the CW is almost a noop anymore. I had a feeling you had the Radio Telephone licenses but I didn't know it was that early. Now-a-days, they fluffed everything up and basically anyone can pass the tests. It all went downhill since the Internet. I've had my General since I was 17 and really had fun with packet radio while it lasted...

Needless to say.. I was not well liked by the 30 something office staff memebers. I was 14 making more per hour than they were..

LOL! I can imagine. Hopefully you were doing it after school. LOL!
