It's a slick promotion, for sure. I failed to mention this in my "recap" of the trip to Vancouver, but I saw a lot of the promotional merchandise. More of Darren Little's skilled handiwork, and some really high quality merchandise. Coffee mugs, tee shirts, battery-powered yoyo's that light up for the kiddies, baseball hats, temporary tattoos....all the things a company needs to garner interest in their product. Every year my own company agonizes over this type of merchandise, trying to select the right items for our particular client base. Darren is right on the mark. This may sound like trivial detail, but believe me...plenty of sales are won or lost on just such minor details.
