Actually Obama would scare off a lot of middle of the road voters. To get a super majority you need to be very popular with the white moderates, the former McCain voters. I'd be very surprised if Obama can pull that off. But he could rally many new voters to the cause and he would appease the lefty base.

Gore and anyone could get 60%. Let's hope he's thinking about it right now because if he runs it's all over.
