There is growing concern about Bush-cheney's sanity. If they are not losing their minds, then they are surely in deep denial and just so arrogant and narrow-minded they cannot see the forest for the trees. Mike Barnicle of the Boston Herald (not a democrat) has suggested Bush may have mental problems. Psychiatrists know that dry alcoholics or ex-addicts often see the world in either black or white and nothing inbetween. They can be extremely intolerant and rational. How else do you explain Bush's mind? Do you really believe his Iraq venture is the result of a rational mind? Even his few allies disagree with him on the amount of troops that were needed.
