Saddam Hussein's two heros were Hitler and Ronald Reagan. Fascism definitely has nothing to do with religious zealotry. Religious fanatics cannot be fascist by definition. I am someone from a very religious family who knows what real christians are. I seriously doubt Bush-Cheney are really religious at all. I believe Bush has been faking it ever since Rove told him to go after the Christian conservative vote. Which is why Bushies call them "wackos" behind their backs. There is nothing in Bush's life which demonstrates he has real Christian faith. he certainly has no history of charity or good works. In short, Bush may be more of a fascist than any president we have ever had. And some of his supporters are defenders of McCarthyism, which was the American version of fascism, until it was stopped.
