Bush has stated he can subvert the Geneva Conventions. Cheney called them "quaint". Cheney and Bush have both argued for total power to ignore all conventions or Constitutional laws and do whatever the hell they please. Including spy on you or me without reason and destroy our lives if they want. That's the voice of dictator wannabes. Pretty clear.

You have no idea who the prisoners at Gitmo are. Some are dangerous, others are just suspects or wrongly accused guys who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's a POW camp, but Bush ignores the Geneva Conventions which relate to such camps.

As for being able to execute them without trials, against that's Fascist. That's exactly what fascists do.

Now AL Qaida may be the worst A-holes on earth, but Bush isn't fighting Al Qaida. He let Bin Laden go years ago. Al Qaida is not his focus and hasn't been since Tora Bora. That's when we had Bin laden and Zawahiri trapped and Bush ignored the CIA's demand for Mountain Rangers to seal off the escape routes. So they all got away. And haven't been gone after since in any serious way. Some of troops may be fighting AL Qaida, but Bush certainly isn't. he allowed the Hunter-Killer op against Bin Laden be dissolved two years ago.
