Bush went into Iraq as a land grab just the way Hitler went into Poland as a land grab. By the time this mess is over, it will cost us over 5000 American dead, 100000 maimed or wounded, and 1,000,000 Iraqis dead...maimed and wounded for these are not in the equation. Factor in caring for U.S. maimed, wounded and those mentally unfit to hold jobs, over the next fifty years, and we have a sum of THREE TRILLION dollars spent. Which also includes cost of the invasion and occupation. As far as Congress is concerned...loot health care and social security boys, we done got some bills to pay. As Will Rogers quipped some years back..."we've got the finest politicians money can buy". God bless them one and all. jon
