Carter's solar clean fuels plan would have had us off Arab oil by Now. The Kerry-McCain CAFE STandards bill would have had us moving in that direction by now. Reagan and Bushb killed both programs with extreme prejudice, doing Big Oil's bidding. Drilling in wildlife sanctuaries is not an answer. Nor a sane move. In fact it's pretty damn evil.
