We are not fighting terrorists in Iraq so much as being stuck in the middle of a sectarian civil war while at the same time getting ambushed by outside terrorists on the side.

Iraq was never part of the war on terror, that is until after Bush's stupid "bring it on!" line which lured in a lot of wannabe Al Qaida types. Saddam had nothing to do with Al Qaida. In fact he was an enemy of theris.

Iraq is now the biggest terrorist training ground imaginable with open borders all around and ample opportunity to take shots at killing US troops. It's a clusterf**k in other words, and a very poor strategic decision.
