The answer is a resounding NO! Bush's hubris is preventing him from pulling out of Iraq. This reminds of Johnson and Nixon, neither of whom wanted to be the first president in US history to lose a war. I believe Bush has probably told his Christian Fundamentalist supporters that God has asked him to "stay the course." .
