We went through Leadville that last time we drove to Aspen. It is a really neat town. Way above the tree line and just has that old timey western feel to it. We stopped at the museum and looked around. The folks who live/lived there have to be a really tough bunch to put up with those harsh winters.

We were particularly impressed with the nursery ponds at the bottom of the mt on the west side. I didn't see that "sickly blue" thingy in the water. I bet it is rather nasty though. We thought it looked like a perfect trout nursery.
