<do you think Putin was lying when he said Russian intelligence had received word Saddam's government was plotting terror attacks against the US?>

You were too cowardly to answer the question too.

Do you think Putin was lying when he said that his government had nothing to do with the assassination of Russians who are critical of him?

The difference is that Putin had a reason to lie about assassinations. But being against the Iraq war and a friend of Iraq he had no reason to lie about Saddam's terror plans.

Putin also said that he did not believe Iraq still had any WMD -- did you believe that?

Did he say that prior or after the war? Whatever the present stocks of WMD weren't the biggest problem.

The absolute lack of evidence of any credible connection linking Saddam to anything worth considering for even one second l

Please, he sheltered wanted terrorists who'd killed Americans on our soil and elsewhere. His diplomats paid Abu Sayyaf to attack Americans in the Philippines. He shot at our planes all the time. He tried to kill an ex-President. Its sad to see people defending Saddam as I said before.

Virtuallly everything the Bush administration said about SAddam's Iraq is consistent with what the Clinton administration said. Which is why the Clintons and most Congressional Democrats supported the war.
