Ichy, I understand your position and personally believe in engagement (much better way to subvert the bastards), but listening to any Canadian on Cuba is hard. You probably weren't even aware that your country is so friendly with Castro that it won't accept any refugees from Cuba (at least we accept the ones who make it shore - and at last count that was about 1.5 million). After its last crackdown on the press (involving imprisonment and torture), then Prime Minister Chretien accepted 10 refugees (yes with two digits), but only after the Pope personally pleaded their case. There are much worse prisons on that Island than the one we run.... John
