I am sorry, my country's habits have been determined by what the needs and wants of one particular family and one particular company for the last 30 years. All of our political decisions are made in accordance of what Quebec wants, and our government has completely ignored most Canadians in order to pander to special interest groups for most of my lifetime. At the end of WWII Canada had a fine navy a great air force and one of the best armies in the world. Now we are almost unable to defend ourselves, not the fault of our fighting men but of politicians unable to separate their own interests from that of the country. Our middle class tax rate is 50%, and industry is fleeing the country. We do have a lot of phone centers popping up. Our health care although free allows people to die rather than cure them, exists on old methods rather than adapting to the newest methods, and our communities have taken to trying to bribe physicians to come there because many people in my country don't have a doctor. It is why I will end up living in the US.
