Hello Dennis, Kirk and All,
After receiving Kirk's passes yesterday, it was off to my first dinner tonight at the Source RFC, which was Tuesday evening. I arrived at 7:25 and it at first didn't appear to be as crowded as when I passed by a week ago Saturday. However, there was an hour wait. People were either shopping, drinking at the magic mushroom, or just taking in the visual effects. I presented the pass, and five minutes later, my party of three was seated with menus. The noise level was high, but not intolerable. We had no difficulty conversing, and besides, we couldn't hear all the little children screaming, which was a plus. The entrees we ordered were the Rasta Pasta, Maya Pastalaya, and the Maui Chicken Club. My son loved the Maya Pastalaya and didn't think it overly spicey. I found the Rasta Pasta to be surprisingly very good. Even the chicken club was huge and tasty. We all decided that in spite of the high noise level, the food was so enjoyable, that we would, and will, most definitely return.
The waiter informed us that this was an unusually quiet night, due to the fact that the Yankees were playing the Indians, and the usual attendance was normally much greater. When we left at 8:50 pm, people were still coming in. Over at the elephant, I was told that the wait was still an hour. The waiter also mentioned that it stays crowded till 10 pm on weekdays. (It closes at 11pm, and 12pm on weekends.) The waiter confirmed that if you want to avoid the lines for dinner, you have to come between 4-6pm or after 10 pm.
All in all, this RFC, IMO will most definitely be adding profits to the bottom line. I hope the receipt #, which I already sent to Dave Jones, bears this out.
Once again, thank you Dennis and Kirk. It was fun going to the head of the line, which my family appreciated too!!
