That does not matter to a market that is managed via futures -
the indices will be up nevertheless. The initial rally from
June lows was very narrow, futures-concentrated. This was bad
technically. Yet, the market followed. Some correction could be
allowed, but I'm 100% confident that as soon as the decline is
deemed to be too deep, Fed coupon passes and 2% up days
associated with them will re-emerge. The dynamics of this market
is different now. The BK has already occured - thousands of
trades worth many trillions in OTC derivative markets are allowed
to be not settled. The bonds of a financial CO (FNM) that has
not reported its accounting for 2 years and deserves to be
delisted trade at 30bp over treasuries. The only way this bubble
is popping is WITH the dollar.
