Technical Analysis of Three Paintings Attributed to Jackson Pollock

Independent, pro-bono analysis by Harvard University Art Museums of paintings MBJP09, MBJP14 and MBJP29. The paintings were brought forth by Alex Matter, who suggests they were completed by Pollock between 1946 and 1949 in his father's New York City studio.

VI. Conclusion
Some pigments raised questions about the proposed date of creation of the three works the research team analyzed (1946–49).
