Wow, that is just not credible. On the contrary, America refused to stop Israeli bombing of Lebanon, even though most were non-military targets, resulting in enormous destruction of civilian infrastructure and innocent lives. That's the refusal I remember, despite the tearful pleadings of Siniora.
