Hi, Mike,

Jongmans set up the genomics and proteomics threads. If you go to the genomics thread

Subject 29015

and search on pharmacogenomics, you'll get some hits, but you won't get anything current. I haven't posted there in over a year; it seems Nigel is the only one doing anything at all there. You could start a pharmacogenomics thread and see what happens. Sometimes, a biofreak's intense interest can be a little contagious. I'll admit that's more likely when someone like rkrw or Rick latches on to a particular stock thread, but it works to a lesser degree on the more general subjects, too, I'd bet.

Cheers, Tuck

PS Hey, when is it going to warm up over here on the other side of the Cascades? The wife is getting seasonal stress disorder. The climatological data I've found indicates we should be seeing mid forties regularly in February, but I just saw how gas futures are up due to a forecast of cold weather (I haven't told Dorann about that little datum).

OTOH this freezing fog (we get winter inversions here, as you probably know), depressing as it is, creates some interesting photographic possibilities on branches and barb wire. Backlit ice crystals.

Sunday we got cabin fever, and went out to see the elk being fed at the Oak Creek station. Quite a production -- hundreds of 'em! They also feed the bighorn sheep nearby, but we arrived a bit late for that, and only saw one young one. Whatever, Dorann hadn't seen an elk or a bighorn before, so it was a bit of a treat for her.

Cheers, Tuck
