Installed Vista last night, at first I thought it crashed my system while upgrading XP to Vista premium. The computer started to reboot itself over and over again out of control. Then I realized right before I started the upgrade I added another 512mb DDR bringing me to a total of 1.5mb. What I didn't realize is my MB has 3 slots, but I can only use 2 of them if I'm using DDR400.

Anyway, after an unsuccessful attempt to burn my my MB...LOL... (yes the PC was restarting because it was over-heating from the 3 sticks of DDR400). I had a successful ungrade to the Windows Vista.

My first glance says I like it, it has great features and the new design is a leap into the future.

It did fail to load at first because I had Nero burning software and I had to uninstall it prior to the Vista installation.

After everything was complete, I lost my audio driver and one of my printer drivers. After some DD they are both up and running, but the printer is running on a backup driver.

HP is still working on a Vista driver for my photosmart 7660, but they said the Deskjet6600 would work for now -:)

The printer works, but I think I've lost the "services" portion of my software.

It took me almost 6 hours to install (including all the trouble shooting).
