Price Target $27/share. Harris Stratex Briefing.com - January 31, 2007 9:52 AM ET Needham & Co initiates Buy. Target $27. Needham initiates HSTX with a Buy and a $27 tgt. They believe the combination of the former Stratex Networks and the Microwave Communications Division of Harris Corp. makes great strategic sense due to the substantial opportunities for cost savings and the limited geographic and customer overlap between the two companies. They are encouraged by the strong results delivered by the cos as separate entities in C4Q06 and believe if the combined co can execute reasonably over the next yr it will deliver sharp earnings growth and drive meaningful share appreciation. ================= HSTX is now trading over $21/share and has reached a high today of $21.25/share. Volume is excellent at over 375,000 shares traded so far today.
