Don't talk about it! I own Meat Packers: Perdigao and Sadia. There is a trigger in income per capita above which the Chinese and the Indians will start consuming more protein: meat and chiken. Problem is in Asia, bird flu comes and goes and everytime and comes back the consumer stops eating chickens. The chickens that come from 16.000 Km away!!!! I don't trade. I buy and hold and sweat. Don't have the nerves of you guys. Luckly CSN the steel maker lost Corus to Tata and I am doing well. Also real estate in Curitiba has done good to me. Real estate in the area -I am selling just now- where they export furniture and fruits went bad due to high Brazilian Real and that hurt the exporting business there. If I had bought Itau and Bradesco banks I would have been doing nicely now. But did not.
