If the value for the American employment rate isn't accurate it isn't because the Europeans offer long periods for unemployment benefits.

At best you are combining/confusing two separate issues.

Not at all. The truth is people don't always find jobs within the artificial six month period set up by the gov't but after six months, those people are no longer counted.
