Well the way it reads, indicates that video, audio, etc. can now be used right over existing services without the loss of speed or data. It seems hard to imagine, but apparently Fastcomm's technology allows for such a time, cost saving system. It apparently has to do with compression capabilities, bandwidth use, on existing communication lines. They apparently have found a way to do what other's were saying wasn't possible. With the amount of traffic jams already on the net, many users have had to use ISDN, wireless, Cable etc. lines in order to avoid loss of time. These systems are expensive and in the case of wireless unreliable(due to transmission of data over airwaves). Fastcomm apparently has solved these problems with their FRADS. Great news for the consumer and Fastcomm. No, I would say fantastic news. This is how I read it and while pinching myself, I sure hope I read correctly.
This is kind of like taking a B-52 and with a few modifications turning it into a B-2. Someone who works in the business told me about a year ago of this possibility, but when nothing came of it, I just disregarded it. I new it was a local firm but had no idea it was FSCX.
I have been loosely following this one and after the last quarter even shorted a few shares, still made money, got back in before the jump. Then I began to notice a pattern just recently brought to my attention, by another investor. It has to do with fluctuation of price in an unpredictable sense. For instance a quick drop of 3/8 then a rebound and up a quarter. Apparently his theory is the MM's are dropping the price to pick up stop orders. It has panned out so far. It also works the other way, although alot of other factors must be taken into account, for instance is it just short covering? or profitaking. With the new Nasd rules, they must show the current price regardless of the transaction and this somehow tips the hat to us investors. Well this could truly be a gold mine, and for the first time I listened to my other side, and bought. With the show coming up I can see(if what I am saying is correct)unlimited potential on the immediate horizon. I've decided to add, regardless of the opening. To procastanate here could be a tragedy. After all the firms following this baby have been saying all along, buy. Sometimes, their right.
Please give any comments, regardless of content.
