It's not an answerable question. Its still too early to know if WMD evidence will show up physically or in the millions of seized documents.
In that case, come out and say that in your opinion, you think he was correct on WMD and time will show that.
Its a red herring anyway. Bush did what he was obligated to do under the breach of the UN cease fire agreements.
And it has nothing at all to do with global warming.
BS. I'm simply making a very simple observation, that Bush's methods are the same in both situations, but even more of the world is against him in GW than in WMD. If you want to say he was correct wrt to WMD, say it.
Is this really the level of left wing discourse on the subject? Wow!
I try to be clear, concise, and honest. I'll answer any direct question to the best of my abilities. Do right-wingers find this impossible? You certainly do.
If you want to expand the question to other issues in Iraq, be my guest. As far as I can see, Bush was just as badly off on the following:
1) The link of Saddam to Osama 2) The state of Iraq being ready for democracy 3) The affect the entire war would have on ME security 4) The total projected cost of the war prior to its start (remember that dude who got canned for mentioning $200B, when Bush & Rummy thought $80B would do it, LOL! 5) The degree to which this war would improve American security in the world.
Yes, indeed, feel free to widen the comparison to pretty much all the other pre-war and post-war views that Bush had. It looks about equally incompetent on all fronts. |
