The stock market is very, very easily managed; the notional
amounts involved are comparatively tiny.
If they can sustain this credit
market mess, it should not be a problem to keep the indices up.
I would think the derivatives "dark matter" is the matter used to sustain
various bubbles, with the "dark matter" itself being the
greatest bubble of them all. What's 10 Trillion real value at 40x leverage? -g-
It is certain that at some point the "dark matter"
might condense into a black hole. At 10x the World GDP, it's extremely massive right
now, beyond anything imaginable. I just have no clue how much
more massive it could become before the critical point of
a "black hole" type collapse is reached -g-
