This is already extremely common. Many American Jews have a total blind spot in regard to Israel. Either that, or they feel the holocaust entitles Israel to special treatment and/or status.

Some even see it as God's will and the fullfillment of prophecy, rather than an act of of will by men, to settle right in the middle of an area already occupied where they were not welcome. Other than the religious aspect, it's really no different than South Africa, a colonialist takeover.

It's a done deal NOW, and they have a right to stay, and the nukes to ensure it. But we AMERICANS don't have to guarantee it. It's against our national interest to do so.
