Rasmussen is a GOP pollster and has apparently been bought and paid for for months now, regularly boosting Bush in the polls from his real 20-30% support to about 40%. That's simply not true.

My own informal poll in real life proves that of the 10-20 Republicans I've talked politics with in the past 3-6 months, not a single one of them is at all happy with Bush, so that's disapproval. I would say Bush's real approval rating is about where his approval rating on his "surge" is, 12%.

Bush may not even be approved by 40% in Texas now.
