John, I don't have any position in AGPH, but I did predict resistance would develop in spite of the good news that came out when PI results started to some in. I think that the UCSF report is strong evidence that resistance is just a matter of time. I don't think that anyone would say that the 47% who have "undectable" levels of HIV are actually free of the virus. Its simple biology coupled with mutations which increase with time. Its much more obvious and quicker with higher viral loads, but the AP report on the UCSF study indicated that "most" of the 53% who have detectable virus now did initially move into the "undectable" category after starting PI's.

"Most patients responded dramatically. Their virus levels dropped so low they could
not be found on standard tests. But since then, the virus has returned to detectable
levels in 53 percent."
