This study is old. It in itself has what is called a built-in bias. Someone has to judge what is considered 'liberal' and what is considered 'conservative' to establish the scale. Were this such a black and white computation, it would be easy. But, especially today, what IS a liberal and conservative position? The political parties attempt to draw a bright line, but there are too many exceptions to allow for such a classification. Without that classification, this study is so much opinion.

Study the scientific method, and you'll better differentiate science from opinion.
