Yup Boundary waters. I wholly recommend a trip to anyone who has a strong back, an interest in the outdoors, an appreciation for nature, a tolerance for both paddling and hiking.

I'll put it on my list of "Things to do before I die"...or not! ;)

While I do have your stated qualifications; I think I'll save my energy & stick to appreciating nature from the balcony of a ship, a floatplane, thru a mask, on a "non self guided" boat, a car/truck/RV...anywhere where I do NOT have to tote my own canoe over miles of rough terrain!! :)

I did enjoy the trip thru YOUR experiences though.

EDIT: All this comes back up for reconsideration once grandies arrive!!! :)
