Scary, huh? Don't you feel like we are hostage to a really ugly scenario being played out?

They say the Iranians are hostage to a bad regime. Well, I say the Americans are hostage to a bad regime. We need good leaders now! I wish impeachment and removal were a realistic probability.

Now, having said that, I'm not as soft on Iran as you are. I think we need to deal with Iran, but I think there is an enormous amount of pressure that could be brought to bear if we had the right leaders. Bush only knows how to use the military to pressure other countries. And one thing I know about the middle east, Islamic culture, is that it's all about testosterone and machismo. If we threaten them with violence, they will call us on it. And certainly we can deliver on our promise of destruction, but I think if we had good leaders, we could bring more intelligent pressure to bear through diplomatic and economic means.

Anyway, 2 years and counting. Will we survive for 2 years without WW III starting?
