Hi, I bought into AGTI at $.20 on Monday Sept, 22. I am still happy with my perchase and I can see this stock going higher as it seems that sales of current products and interest in and/or sales of the newest products seems to be on the up.
I read the SI threads daily and that is where I found your e-mail address. I'm glad to see that the talk on the AGTI thread is getting more positive. I too must say that if I had read these latest posts prior to my purchase I probably would have been scared away.
Oh well, I am in and I too want to see AGTI stock go up. I have called the company many times and I have spoken to the IR man, Bob Hunzeger I believe. From speaking with him I too am of the impression that the deal to acquire the competitor may not go through, however I'm not so sure that this is so important. Mr. Hunzeger made a comment to me regarding the potential merger, and that comment was, "We're not going to give away the company". He suggested that the other company may be asking to too much in the deal, that they want too much AGTI stock in return for their being acquired. He went on to say that "the ball is in their court" referring to the other party.
One thing I did was to give a few suggestions to AGTI about possible applications for their products. I had thought of a few. For instance what about bingo on airplanes? With todays technology this game could be played all across the country on many airplanes. Players could be competing against travelers on several different planes for grand prizes and/or just on their plane for smaller prizes, and displays could show which person on which plane won.
Players could play for prizes if gambling isn't allowed. Also what about sporting events such as the NFL, a game of turbo bingo durring commercial time-outs, and quarter changes and halftime, the two minute warnings could also be a good time for a quick game of bingo. Something I saw on TV lately is that certain baseball parks (San Diego, I believe) have been putting in computers for the general public... it lets fans see the camera angle of their choice, as well as replays, and statistics. Well, what about a quick game of bingo durring inning changes. Another suggestion is a prize catalogue where people could build up points to purchase items in situations where gambling is not allowed. I think these are good suggestions for AGTI.
This is the kind of talk we need on the SI thread or any other thread for that matter in regaurd to AGTI. As new potential investors check the thread to see what people are saying, they will see only positive statements made by people who believe in the future growth and success of AGTI... this is what we need.
Another good thing to talk about would be estimates on when AGTI should be profitable... By the way Does anybody have any ideas on estimated earnings per share for 1998? Also estimated time-frame for turning profitable. Any educated guesses would be most appriciated.
Although I read the SI pages I still have not joined Silicon Investor. I want to make some money off what I read in SI before I pony up the $75.00 so that I can post myself.
Please post this message for me to the AGTI thread.
