Neolib, you're the one who doesn't understand free markets and free enterprise. I've asked you before and you've failed to answer:

Show me where, ANYWHERE, a free market that exists in reality and not in the theory of an ivory tower academic subsisting on government grants.

Show me.

"So you and your friends should go and start either a completely non-profit, or a modestly for-profit insurance company that instead offers good coverage, and freaking put the others out of business."

Did you even read my posts?

1. There's no need because it's called MEDICARE and it can be implemented TOMORROW. It will FREAKING PUT THE OTHERS OUT OF BUSINESS TOMORROW.

Do you actually read anything?

2. Insurance is one aspect of the problem, a major one, but it doesn't address the others.

You have offered no solution to the problem except to throw some more tax money into the coffers of insurance companies, the AMA, private hospitals, drug companies and the like. You haven't addressed the cost structure or the poor ROI of the US health care system.

If you're so adamant about a free market, why don't you address the ROI? Why are we paying so much more than anyone else but have worse outcomes?

WHY?
