John, the iPhone caters to the American market. That is to say it has fewer features than many Japanese or European phones, where you're able to purchase products using bluetooth at a mini-mart. My wife has a Motorola RAZR phone and it's highly over-rated. The price has come way down, though and with the deep discounts they're offering for new customers, someone like Jake might even be able to afford one... ROFL!
